Vaughan, ON November 7, 2011 - Link-Line Contractors Ltd. announced that President and COO Rick Delaney had been invited to speak at the American Gas Association Executive Leadership Safety Summit in Washington, DC on November 7-8, 2011.  The theme of the summit is “Promoting Safety and Operational Excellence.”

Mr. Delaney made a joint presentation with Paul Rietdyk, Vice-President, Distribution Operations for Union Gas.  The presentation was called “Striving Higher for Contractor Safety.”  The presentation focused on the 10 year Distribution Construction Alliance between Link-Line and Union Gas and outlined how the Alliance support continuous improvement on all aspects of contractor performance with a focus on personal and operational safety.

Along with Mr. Delaney, Link-Line is proud to participate in this Safety Summit.  At Link-Line, safety is always our first priority and we are pleased to share the impact of this successful Alliance relationship on the Safety culture at our company.
