CAST IRON REPLACEMENT

 

Link-Line provides complete construction services related to the replacement of cast iron natural gas distribution grid with polyethylene pipeline.  Link-Line has worked with our client to meet their goals of replacing the entire cast iron system within the City of Toronto.  The goal of this program was to reduce leaks in the natural gas distribution network, enhancing overall safety, increasing pipeline longevity and reducing maintenance and replacement costs.

Working within Canada's largest city Toronto has presented a unique and complex work environment complete with unusual challenges and opportunities.  Construction projects spread across the city  They include the highly congested downtown core - ripe with high pedestrian concentrations, large volumes of traffic, and the associated nuances of working in any large city across North America.  Projects also stretch outward to the local suburbs and bedroom communities within this metropolis.  We seek the involvement of local municipalities, utility providers and other contractors affected by our work well in advance of any project.
